Specifically, a Wordpress idiot.
I was upgrading to 2.6 when a host of things thatI should have expected but failed to compensate for happened:
1. I forgot to back-up my database posts using ther Wordpress export.
2. In my overweening ego, safe in the assumption that I’ve used Wordpress before, and that nothing can go wrong, I’ve neglected to peruse the Wordpress upgrade FAQ,
3. I’m an idiot.
I apologize for the quick downtime, and the sudden loss of posts from the last day or so, but fortunately, I did store the database I hosted the posts at, and was able to retrieve everything except for the last custom order entry, which I re-posted again anyway. Phew.
I just recently upgraded my wordpress and it was only a click. It always has been. That’s why I never thought of backing up my wordpress posts. Hrm, I wonder if I should start making it a habit. Glad you’re back up again!

I’m still not quite sure what went wrong; Wordpress apparently added a new prefix to my database posts, which is why they never showed up.
