Mythbusters: Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage Dolls
Remember whatI said a couple of posts ago, about having been commissioned to do a pair of dolls whom I LOVE the idea of making dolls off? Yup, it’s the popular Mythbusters duo from the Discovery Channel: Jaime Hyneman and Adam Savage! I am horribly in love with this show, but this might justbe my inner geek talking. My current pride and joys, created specifically for a lovely customer! They were harder to do than most, but mostly because their glasses was a little difficult to fashion in miniature.
Let’s start with the happy-go-lucky, funny Adam Savage.

Adam! Easily the funnier one of the two, though oddly enough, I believe Jaime is a bit more popular. He’s coined such phrases as “I reject your reality and substitute my own.”, and loves to dance during episodes. He was the easier to do of the two, but his square black glasses were harder! A little handwritten “Mythbusters” logo is on his T-shirt, and he sports his typical ginger beard and hair.

And now for Jaime! He’s easily the grouchier of the two, but I think that (and his beret hat) is what endears him to the audience. Non-removable hat and glasses, and also his trademark sidebar moustache. He kinda looks like a human walrus, doesn’t he? 
At request from customer, also sports his red Converse Chuck Taylors!
….and now, I feel so tempted to go off and make a Bear Grylls doll. For those of you who adore Discovery as much as I do, check out their new Discovery Channel “I love the Whole World” promo as well. It’s adorable!

I was just wondering if perhaps you’d forgotten about my Zelda dolls, because I noticed that on Saturday you said after these two dolls you’re going back to your daily crochet programming.
I understand you’re very busy and have had a lot of custom orders, I’m simply curious as it’s been over a month.
