Pop Crochet: Bleach

I am an avid fan of Bleach. This might be why Bleach characters were one of the first dolls I’ve attempted to crochet into amigurumi when I first started out. While I haven’t quite gotten around to making all the major characters involved, I’m still shelving that idea hopefully for one day when I’m free to do them all.

But for now, a list of Bleach characters that I have managed to do:

Naturally, Ichigo was the first one I made, mostly because he’s my favorite character. (Second and third favorites would haveto be Kon and Gin respectively, although Gin might just be because he looks a bit like my boyfriend). The third finished doll I’ve ever made, after Fitzwilliam Darcy and Yuki Eiri.

And then we have one of Ichigo’s current mortal enemies, the arrancar Grimmjow!

Grimmjow was also an order for a customer who requested for him, as was little Gin Ichimaru. I was wrried atfirstthatI couldn’t recreate the shinigami captain uniforms, but it didn’t come out half as bad.

And since we already had Ichigo up and about, I had to stick in a couple of his more powerful allies: Rukia Kuchiki (yay, otp) and Ishida Uryuu (yay yaoi otp! XD)

And something justfor fun (yes, my worktable is that messy, unfortunately. I seem to thrive admist chaos.)
