Pop Crochet: You’re a Crochet Doll Now, Charlie Brown
I think everyone has pretty much heard of the Peanuts comic strips by Chalres Schultz’s, easily one of the, if not the most popular comic strip there is. Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown’s inability to kick a football – yeah. A friend of mine was doing a Charlie Brown / Peanuts play, and asked me to make these dolls for his cast members.
I’ve tried to make them as close as I possibly could to the actual likenesses of the Peanuts characters, but there are going to be big restrictions when it comes to fashioning something in real time based on a 2D drawing, but I think I did a good enough job there. The hair gave me a hard time. Always the hair!

Oh heavens!!! I surfed on over here from Ravelry. Peanuts are my favorite. I think I have just fallen in love here! Your dolls are simply amazing. Do you have a pattern you might be willing to share? Or do you do reproductions for sale or anything? These are amazing.
Your blog is pretty interesting to me and your subject matter is very relevant. I was browsing around and came across something you might find interesting. I was guilty of 3 of them with my sites. “99% of site owners are committing these five mistakes”. http://is.gd/ay65xf You will be suprised how easy they are to fix.
Hi there,
I love all your work…
I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase a pattern for Linus Van Pelt please. I would very much love to be able to crochet my own Linus.
