Alex Pettyfer Crochet Doll

I don’t often get requests to make dolls of an actual celebrity rather than the character he portrays, but I do get them every once in awhile. Case in point: Alex Pettyfer. I don’t really know all that much about him, although I’ve heard of his name because some of my friends fawn over teenaged (or twenteenaged) celebrities to remind me every now and then that I am getting old.

The doll was based on this Alex Pettyfer pic.

I figured it looked unique enough, especially with the cross tattoo on his chest, that most people who know who Alex Pettyfer can actually make the connection. My main frustration with making celebrity dolls is that a lot of celebrities don’t always have a kind of costume or set of clothes they’re most associated with, so I’m glad this one came out pretty similar.
